The definition of “color” has been broadened to include color as a material characteristic as well as part of the uniqueness and character of an object. This expresses not only the beauty of ceramic art produced through the spectrum of colors but also the “uniqueness” of a work of ceramic art that results from the emotional connection between the artist and the public.
Based on this renewed concept, the 2015 Biennale attempts to highlight the color of ceramic art through three themes that each symbolizes the future, past and present: “Distinctive Color”, “Traditional Color” and “Variegated Color'
